I enjoy your thoughtful narrative style as you dig for facts and citations. I hope you're persistent for awhile, though the material might run down. There's not a deep record.
Counting up the 'votes' prior to an election by processing costly data to make positions that will draw the electorate to the polls is a new type of political machine.
Choosing a candidate late in the year to correspond to district by district preference data is a new type of social engineering.
Damn them. Damn any doing this.
But America is accepting this for the sake of little victory on small matters.
One day, we must learn to test the rhetoric and find a way to insist there's both proof and good sense behind the proposals and the stumping.
As if every voter needs an ombudsman, may the web boss on!
